Maryfromthedairy

2 year old Bay Filly

Sire: Epaulette Dam: World Guide

Half-sister to Clanbrooke’s `Nicconi Poni’ by emerging sire - EPAULETTE
(recently named `Maryfromthedairy')

With our promising four-year-old Nicconi Poni showing such promise it is exciting to be able to offer her half-sister by emerging young stallion EPAULETTE.

Bred on the same prolific Danehill/Mr Prospector cross that has produced such outstanding gallopers as Frankel, More Joyous, Highland Reel, Chautauqua, Lankan Rupee, Duke Of Marmalade, Criterion, Shocking, Miss Finland and 1681 other stakes winners this filly has already been christened with the memorable name `Maryfromthedairy’.

She is the final foal for the proven broodmare World Guide, daughter of dual Group One winner Defensive Play, successful sire of ten stakes winners and an even better broodmare sire with his daughters to date producing 23 stakes races including the big race winners Efficient, Zarita, King Of Pain, Taatletail, Heatseeker, Joy And Fun and Sirmione.

The latter, a dual Group One (Australia Cup and Mackinnon Stakes) winner of over $1.8 million, is a half-brother to this filly whose other siblings include the unraced Romantically, dam of stakes winning sprinter Romancer.

What a consistently good family this has been, World Guide being one of seven winners produced by her stakes placed dam Lambert Miss, also dam of the Group Three New Zealand St Leger winner Sunray and the Listed Grafton Cup winner Rocking On - as well as the Macau based Group Three placegetter Macau Warrior.

A two times winner at metropolitan level, Lambert Miss is one of six winners for her dam, the Listed winner Buzette who also produced the Group Two winner Wolvette (in turn dam of the Group Three winning stayer Headcutter) and the Listed winners Mr Merrymaker and Force Of Impact.

This is a family that has been producing topliners for generations, its other members including the Group One winners Millward, Great Command and Young Ida as well as the Group winners Sweet Revenge, Cooliney Prince, Roman Blue, Superlative and The Hombre.

This filly's sire EPAULETTE is one of 77 stakes winners and 11 Group One winners sired by Danehill's consistently classy son Commands who maintained an exceptional 71.3% winners-to-runners strike rate throughout a lengthy career at stud.

The winner of over $1.7 million in stakes, Epaulette was seen at his best winning two races at the elite level; the stallion making Golden Rose Stakes and the Doomben 10,000.

A son of the wonderful broodmare Accessories (also dam of Group One winner Helmet who sired this year's Dubai World Cup winner Thunder Snow - and the Group winners Pearls and Bullbars), EPAULETTE has made a most encouraging start to his stud career.

With his first local crop only just having turned three, EPAULETTE - who has shuttled to Europe - has already been represented by 53 individual winners.

And he is saving his best for home with his first local crop yielding three stakes winners; the Group Three gallopers Khulaasa and Meryl and the Australian bred, South African based Soqrat; recent impressive Group One winner who has tasted defeat just once in four starts.

A sire on the up, a proven broodmare... a great type who is a half-sister to a dual Group One winner from a prolific family. Maryfromthedairy has plenty to offer!
