Purrealist Naming Competition

Credible tipping but no cigar from guest tipster Chris Doyle over the weekend. And so we move on...to a competition.

Bred to go early, Purrealist progeny have been doing just that with the freshman sire recording a winner from his first runner in late October and compounding this early form with another winner one week later. Although only early in the season, Purrealist currently sits atop the First Season sire table.

Owners are going to be able to have a bit of fun naming his progeny and as our 2YO Purrealist x Portview colt is currently in full work with the view to being race ready in January, it is time to get creative.

If you're someone who need only cast an eye over a pedigree before a number of clever, witty or inspired name suggestions simply roll off your tongue, then we have a competition right up your alley. Submit your best names for our colt then, after subjecting the names to our usual in-house voting system, if your name suggestion is subsequently adopted and the horse registered with your name, you win either 1/2 month off your fees (if you are an owner) or a Caulfield Members double pass if you are not an owner.

Also, for those looking to get even more involved, for this week only (until 18th November), we're offering 5% off the ingoing purchase price in this Purrealist x Portview Colt - $5600 instead of $5895 per 10% share. We have a couple of shares remaining and, being in full work, we want to close it off as soon as possible. He has been travelling along exceptionally well and has been nominated for the Inglis bonus series.
